Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Buncombe County, North Carolina. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Driving licence for travel between sites You will thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
