Paint and prep technician wanted in Swain County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Swain County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy body shop. On a typical shift you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint. Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
