Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Vance County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Accurate at weighing and following recipes On a typical shift you will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds.
