Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Kalawao County, Hawaii. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
