Shakeout operator wanted in Floyd County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Floyd County, Indiana. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
