What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Clean police verification with no criminal record Day-to-day duties: • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point 4+ years on the tools preferred.
