UPVC welding machine operator wanted in Saint John the Baptist Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day-to-day duties: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
