Concrete worker wanted in Howard County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Howard County, Nebraska. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Day to day you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
