Safety officer — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety officer in Montgomery County, Virginia. The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot 4+ years on the tools preferred.
