Rebar fixer — Rutland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Rutland County, Vermont. You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
