Blocklayer • Mai'Adua, Katsina State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Mai'Adua, Katsina State. You will work on a busy housing site. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer ₦280,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
