Core maker wanted in Eastland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Eastland County, Texas. You will work on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
