Urgent requirement: refrigeration service engineer (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Elliott County, Kentucky. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Day-to-day duties: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits.
