Banksman • Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists 6+ years on the tools preferred.
