Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Kaugama, Jigawa State. Day to day you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
