Overlocker operator wanted in City of Winchester

Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in City of Winchester, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Day-to-day duties: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
