Fry cook wanted in City of Poquoson

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fry cook in City of Poquoson, Virginia. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes What we are looking for: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
