Urgent requirement: acoustic insulation fitter (Massachusetts)

Now hiring: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. You will work in lofts and crawl spaces. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel On a typical shift you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations.
