Kitchen cook — City of Waynesboro

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen cook in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate The role involves marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; prepare the mise en place before each service; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations.
