Gantry crane operator — Ogbia

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Ogbia, Bayelsa State. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
