Gang bricklayer wanted in Carbon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Carbon County, Utah. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Six days a week, one day off.
