Now hiring: argon welding operator (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Floyd County, Indiana. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
