Great opportunity: we are hiring a packing operative in Tazewell County, Virginia. You will be based in a cold-storage packing unit. Ideal candidate: • Basic numeracy for counting and recording quantities • Able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 25 kg • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing Your main tasks: • Record production counts on the shift sheet • Strap and band pallets ready for loading • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Operate the filling and sealing machine on the line • Shrink-wrap trays and stretch-wrap finished pallets 4+ years on the tools preferred.
