Fabricator-welder — Bertie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bertie County, North Carolina. Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
