Immediate opening: food packing operative (Massachusetts)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a food packing operative in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You will work in a food packaging factory. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail for date codes and labelling • Understanding of basic food hygiene for food packing Your main tasks: • Separate rejects and re-pack faulty units • Apply labels, barcodes and batch codes to each pack • Operate the filling and sealing machine on the line • Check best-before and expiry dates on every box • Seal cartons with a tape gun or hot-melt glue • Feed products onto the conveyor belt and clear jams At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
