Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Polk County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise façade. Day to day you will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
