Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Jackson County, Georgia. You will work on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Part-time with flexible hours.
