Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Ilorin West, Kwara State. You will work at a busy earthworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 1+ years on the tools preferred.
