Great opportunity: we are hiring a waiter in Clay County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy restaurant. The role involves raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery; check back during the meal and handle special requests; punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place. What we are looking for: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Clear spoken communication and a polite, friendly manner Rotating shifts.
