Press shop operator wanted in City of Falls Church

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in City of Falls Church, Virginia. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Your main tasks: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
