Great opportunity: argon welder (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Quay County, New Mexico. The role involves: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
