You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight.
