Crane operator wanted in North Lanarkshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. On a typical shift you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
