Join our team: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Decatur County, Iowa. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On a typical shift you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
