Visual inspection operator wanted in Peoria County

Now hiring: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Peoria County, Illinois. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
