Urgent requirement: we are hiring an oven operator in Georgetown County, South Carolina. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
