Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Washington County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
