Aluminium TIG welder — Hutchinson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $10,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
