GMAW welder • Adair County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Adair County, Oklahoma. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Six days a week, one day off. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
