Sausage maker wanted in Hood River County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sausage maker in Hood River County, Oregon. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry On a typical shift you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
