Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Lincoln County, North Carolina. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean Rotating shifts.
