Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Fairfield County, South Carolina. You will work at a food processing plant. On a typical shift you will braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; service split AC units and VRF systems; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Full-time, day shift.
