Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a food processing unit. Day to day you will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection Full-time, day shift.
