Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Jackson County, North Carolina. The job is on a busy construction site. The role involves park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided.
