Vacancy available: we are hiring a coating plant operator in McDowell County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches. Requirements: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
