Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Sherman County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
