Join our team: sand plant operator (North Dakota)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Ward County, North Dakota. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
