Safety marshal — Gummi

Join our team: we are hiring a safety marshal in Gummi, Zamfara State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. The role involves: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Rotating shifts.
