Hoist operator — Kanabec County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Kanabec County, Minnesota. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Your main tasks: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals Rotating shifts.
