Great opportunity: trowel-trade bricklayer (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Your main tasks: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Overtime paid at a premium rate.
